Best forLarge open rooms in mild climates that want a 2-ton wall unit with a 7-year compressor term.
The Livo 24k is a 2-ton wall unit at 19 SEER2, 8.5 HSPF2 and 11.9 EER2, about $2,430 for the system. Gree states 850 to 1,100 sq ft, and lists heating operation to -13°F and cooling to 0°F. Indoor sound runs 36 to 51 dBA and the outdoor unit 58 dBA, which is loud enough that placement matters against a bedroom window. The Livo is Gree's value line, and at this size the price gap that favors it at 9k and 12k is gone: Gree's own Vireo 24k and Pioneer's Diamante Pro 24k both offer a cold-climate story. It fits a large open room or a small whole-house ductless setup in a mild climate.
At 5°F it still makes 70% of its rated heat, according to the certified NEEP listing for this pairing. Gree rates it to keep running down to -13°F.
Pairing: LIV24HP230V1R32AO with LIV24HP230V1R32AH. Checked October 8, 2026 on NEEP's ccASHP list; a different head or condenser posts different numbers.
Gree states 850 to 1,100 sq ft for this 2-ton wall unit. It suits a large open room or a small ductless whole-house setup. NEEP certifies 22,400 BTU at 47°F.
NEEP certifies 15,700 BTU at 5°F with a COP of 1.75, about 70% of its 47°F figure. Gree lists operation to -13°F. The 8.5 HSPF2 is weak for this size.
The outdoor unit runs at 58 dBA and the indoor unit at 36 to 51 dBA. That is the loudest of the Livo range. Placement relative to bedroom windows matters.
About $2,430 for the system, plus $247 to $587 for a line set, which is not included. The flared connections need nitrogen testing and evacuation, and Gree points buyers to a GREE Select contractor.
