Overview
Daikin's floor console is the FVXV, sold in white or espresso, and it pairs with the RXV12AVJU9 outdoor unit. The indoor listing shows 12,000 BTU cooling and 19,900 BTU heating, 19.5 SEER2 and 9.5 HSPF2, and sound levels of 26 to 43 dB(A). The outdoor spec shows 19.5 SEER2, 11.5 EER2 and 9.0 HSPF2 when run with a ducted/cassette indoor unit, so the 9.5 HSPF2 here is the indoor unit's own figure. Heating stops at 5°F. At about $3,000 it undercuts Mitsubishi's floor console by $700 to $1,350 but rates below Fujitsu's AGUH12 on efficiency (25 SEER2) and is not a cold-climate unit.
