Overview
The AGUH12KUAS is a recessed-or-freestanding floor console with built-in Wi-Fi through the Airstage app, rated 25 SEER2, 13.5 EER2 and 11.2 HSPF2 (region IV; 8.8 in region V) on R-32. Sound is down to 22 dB(A), refrigerant leak detection is built in, and the operating range is -5°F to 75°F. At about $3,150 it is roughly $1,200 less than Mitsubishi's Hyper-Heat console and rates 7.8 SEER2 higher, though Mitsubishi keeps running to -22°F and Fujitsu stops at -5°F. Mini-split floor consoles heat from near the floor, which feels more even than a high wall head in a basement or room with a glass wall.

No current listing on NEEP's cold-climate heat pump list (checked October 8, 2026). Fujitsu General rates it to keep running down to -5°F; without a listing there's no certified 5°F capacity figure to check that claim against.

Is a floor console right for my room?+
It suits rooms where wall space is taken by windows or where heat from the floor is preferred. The lineset connects at the back or bottom, and 16 to 65 ft is offered, pre-charged for 50 ft.
Does it have a cold-climate rating?+
The maker's floor is -5°F, but it is not NEEP listed, so no certified 5°F capacity or COP is published. SEER2 is 25 and HSPF2 11.2.
Who should install the floor console?+
A licensed contractor. Fujitsu's base term is 5 years on parts and 7 on the compressor. A licensed-contractor install registered online within 60 days raises it to 10 years on both, and a Fujitsu Elite contractor install to 12, so a self-install gives up the longer coverage.
